Apart from lawyers who provide legal service for a fee there are various NGO's that provide legal services at a subsidized or nominal fee. Public can access justice and legal advise or services through these following agencies:
The Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) – Kenya is the premier women’s rights organization in Kenya and has in 30 years offered direct legal aid services to over 300,000 women and positively impacted in structural, institutional, and legal reforms within Kenya to ensure gender sensitivity and responsiveness.
The Katiba Institute, Located in Nairobi, was established in 2011 to promote knowledge and studies of constitutionalism and to facilitate the implementation of Kenya’s new constitution.
