These crucial stakeholders will be necessary to cascade the information from the grassroots to the policy makers.
At the close of the workshop, we shall be sending the workshop Memorandum including the recommendations to the Kenya Law Reform Commission and such other agencies as may be concerned, for their consideration.
This event will serve to usher in the #16DaysofActivism which is observed from 25th November 2018 – 10th December each year.
We hope that the discussion at the High Tea will set the tone for the same by equipping participants with the relevant information on the status, and which areas require emphasis or improvement.
This is necessary for effective advocacy on the issue, particularly in light of the spate of media reports of GBV/ IPV incidents, as well as the “Sponsor Phenomenon.”
Participants will be charged Ksh.800/- per person for attendance to cater for refreshments.
The Venue will be in Mombasa (Location to be advised).
